Boom Racing Releases 3 New Transfer Cases For BRX01

4770 Views

If you're looking for an edge on extreme crawling, or on a quest for a more scale realistic 2WD/4WD transmission to have fun with, one of these three transfer cases will do the trick.

Boom Racing just added three exciting transfer case options for their BRX01 chassis. They include a new DIG unit, a Selectable 2WD/4WD T-Case, and an Overdrive T-Case. Let's get right to it.

SWD (2WD/4WD) T-Case

This option enables you to switch between 2WD (rear-wheel-drive) and 4WD of your BRX01 chassis, mimicking many of the street-legal 1:1 off-roaders.

Features:

  • Realistic 2WD/4WD fun just like 1:1 off-roaders
  • Remotely switch between 2WD and 4WD
  • Heavy-duty steel gear set* for durability
  • Billet aluminum transfer case
  • Full rubber-sealed ball bearings
  • Keeps the original anti torque twist feature (counter-rotating output shafts)

* Optional Overdrive HD Gear Set for BRX T-Case (33T, 25T, 16T) #BRLC70201-GEAR available, which adds 32% overdrive to the front wheels.

DIG T-Case

If you are into extreme crawling, improve the turning radius of your BRX01 chassis with this new DIG T-Case.

You can remotely lock the rear drivetrain using this DIG T-Case to reduce the turning radius immediately.

Features:

  • Significantly reduce turning radius to improve steering ability
  • Remotely lock the rear drivetrain
  • Heavy-duty steel gear set* for durability
  • Billet aluminum transfer case
  • Full rubber-sealed ball bearings
  • Keeps the original anti torque twist feature (counter-rotating output shafts)

* Optional Overdrive HD Gear Set for BRX T-Case (33T, 25T, 16T) #BRLC70201-GEAR available, which adds 32% overdrive to the front wheels.

Overdrive T-Case

This OD T-Case will give you instant advantages for maximum off-road capability in crawling and climbing situations.

The front wheels are geared to spin 32% faster than the rears. With the front wheels spinning faster, the BRX01 will turn better. Overdriving the front axle helps the front wheels pull the truck up slopes and over obstacles, instead of being pushed from the rear axle. This T-Case also helps with reducing torque twist.

Features:

  • Improve steering capability
  • Helps with reducing torque twist
  • Front wheels spin faster (32%) pulling the truck up, instead of being pushed from the rear axle
  • Heavy-duty steel overdrive gear set
  • Billet aluminum transfer case
  • Full rubber-sealed ball bearings
  • Keeps the original anti torque twist feature (counter-rotating output shafts)
