Welcome to the 3rd Boom Racing Asian Scale Invasion – Return of the Dragon RECON G6 event series.

This highly anticipated event will be held in Hong Kong on November 2-3, 2024 at MX Club. Brian Parker and the RECON G6 Crew, in collaboration with Boom Racing, are organizing this two-day epic scale adventure, which will be attended by scale crawling enthusiasts from around the globe.

RECON G6 has been hosting G6 style scale truck events since 2009. This American lifestyle event series provides a weekend full of R/C crawling and scale trail driving, which is based around trail adventures. Drivers need to overcome challenging obstacles while being in control of their vehicles.

The first ever FIX ENDURO will be the highlight of this year's event. It is an original R/C endurance event that tests products in a real-world environment by everyday drivers. There are three classes available: 3/6/12 hours. To receive the RECON G6 certificate of excellence badge, drivers need to complete the 12-hour class. Products that do not survive the entire 12-hour class will not be certified.

This event is suitable for the entire family.

FEATURED EVENTS

Show ‘N’ Shine (Saturday)

Compete with scale truck enthusiasts worldwide and get the chance to be handpicked by Brian Parker, the “godfather” of scale truck events. Show off your truck and see how your build stacks up against others.

G6 Scale Trail (Both Days)

An R/C 4x4 scale rally with mandatory skills sections. Challenge your scale driving ability, winching and recovery skills, navigational prowess, and your rig’s durability.

BRX Draconic Driving Challenge (Sunday)

Got a BRX vehicle? This featured event lets you compete against all the other BRX scale trucks. Of course it is performance based!

Asiatees Terra X U4 Racing (Sunday)

This is rock racing with a twist. First to cross the finish line wins… or be the last truck standing!

Mini Comp (Sunday)

Got a mini crawler? Bring it! Compete against other mini crawlers in a surprise format. Minimum scale is 1/16.

Asian Fix Enduro (Saturday)

Are you nuts? You better be! The original R/C endurance event that tests products in real world environment by everyday drivers. If the products survive, the companies receive the RECON G6 Certified stamp of excellence. Three classes are available: 3/6/12 hours.

Badass Top Truck Challenge (Saturday)

This event features 5 driving challenges, with different classes and point systems. Drivers must complete each sector of the challenges to earn points. Do you have what it takes to be the 2024 Badass TTC Champion?

MX Club is Hong Kong's largest motocross park. It has been the go-to venue for our events. The large park includes many different terrains perfect for scale R/C adventures.

Shuttle buses will be available in the early mornings of November 2 and 3 from Pentahotel to the Recon G6 location (MX Club in Sheung Shui). A return trip will also be available.

We strongly recommend guests book Pentahotel accommodations for at least Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The awards dinner will take place near the hotel on Sunday night.

To travel between Shenzhen Bay Port and Tuen Mun city centre, you can take Citybus Line B3X.
